Concert — reading — community singing in Bogense Church on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Denmark
Soprano Stine Elbæk's career spans a wide range of genres and she performs with everything from classical singing to folk music. She is the soloist at today's concert, and you will be able to hear songs and music with peace and freedom as the theme - among others Man Tying Us by Mouth and Hand, En larke letted and Prins Jørgens March. In addition, parish priest Inger Solveig Nissen will read texts as they were written then and also later in time — perhaps we can sense how the language on these themes has changed over the course of the 80 years.
Contributors:
Stine Elbæk, vocals
Emil Th. Møller Jensen, piano and organ
