Join a tour of the 5 period rooms at Thorslundgård and learn more about the collection of over 100 Danish porcelain frames, including the beautiful Flora Danica, Danish antiques and renowned Golden Age painters. Tours of Thorslundgård take place on Sundays at 11:00 and last approximately 1 hour. It is subsequently possible to walk on your own in the rural garden or visit the store and buy delicious delicacies, books and beautiful things. Each living room is decked out in its own unique Christmas universe. Experience Swedish Christmas in the dining room, which is covered up nicely for Christmas guests or learn more about modern Christmas traditions in the Orient in our Chinese salon. In our large Christmas shop you will find plenty of inspiration for Christmas — hand-picked gift ideas, high-quality decorations and small fine finds you won't find anywhere else. Here is room for both curious souls and those who just want to be seduced by the tranquility and beauty of Christmas. In addition to the beautifully decorated surroundings and living rooms, we also have ongoing activities for creative souls of all ages! \ Every day it will be possible to make your very own Christmas ball in Santa's workshop here on the farm! Experience the magical Christmas atmosphere at Harridslevgaard Slot* In December, Harridslevgaard Castle opens its doors to a very special Christmas experience. The castle's many living rooms and halls will be beautifully decorated as they form the setting for traditional Christmas events in the Thornico Group — and on this occasion we open the doors to a limited number of guided tours. On the tour you will get both the historical story of Harridslevgaard Castle and an insight into how Christmas was celebrated among the nobility throughout time. You will have access to a total of 1,200 m² spread over three floors — from the magnificent knight's hall and the many beautiful living rooms to the atmospheric medieval cellar with dungeon. All beautifully decorated with fir trees, lights and the special magic that belongs to Christmas.

Explore the beautiful historic living rooms — now with two brand new rooms on the 1st floor! Hear about the work, everyday life and traditions of the winter months, while the fire crackles and time stands still for a while. Outside you can take part in a lot of activities! Make your own chisels from winter's excess pine cones, learn more about farm animals and spring garden preparation, play as you did in the past, and much more! For the brave and curious, we open the door to the secret living room, where old and exciting fables are told! Thorslundgård is a living museum, and the winter holidays are the perfect opportunity to feel the history, warmth and presence — together.
