The rose fields at Bogense are beautiful - up to 90% of all Danish garden roses are grown here on the sandy soil around Bogense.

A special experience is a guided tour of the rose fields at Grønløkke Planteskole. More than 2 million roses of more than 800 varieties are grown here every year, mostly for export, but also for the Danish market.

Visit the rose fields during the Rose Festival

On the first weekend in August, during the Rose Festival, the rose gardener is ready in the rose fields from 10 am to 4 pm, and everyone is welcome to have a chat about roses, where the rose gardener talks about growing roses.
